We walked into this unassuming mostly-Chinese restaurant at the shout of approval from a passing local and it was a great suggestion.   Great prices, good food, and efficient service from easy to understand, friendly Thai women.

The ginger & honey tea was EXCELLENT- most definitely homemade with fresh ginger and just the right touch of honey.  Nom.

I had N8- vegetables with noddles, which was very much like a chow mein, but you could also get the dish as a soup.  Others at the table had vegetable noodles in a black bean sauce (nice spice), a pork dish and a sweet and sour chicken.  This was very standard Chinese food- everything was tasty, nothing was outstanding or unexpected, it was very much what you would expect and done quite well with fresh veggies and good sauce.  Also, they make their own hot sauce, which is a nice little touch.

Tea was 80p, entrees between £3-5.    Five of us ate a great lunch for less than £30.

Had the Singapore noodles (egg noodles, not the vermicelli). Beats the Singapore noodles from Wong Kei (my former favorite go-to joint) hands down. Absolutely excellent.

Read reviews and placed on my "list". Today is somewhat cool, so after a long walk, I wanted something warming, a good curry.

Very basic place. Food quantity quite generous. And, oh, very reasonable prices. Curry plus a soda, £7.

While in London, I've frequented Ned's noodle bar to get my noodle and Asian fix.  I will not go to Ned's ever again after finding this hidden gem.  TBH, the place looks like a dump, you won't get five star service or Michelin star food, but what you will get is solid home style Asian food.  Their Malaysian style noodles is one of the best one had.  And all for around £5 per plate, ire street food prices with tables.  Would recommend if you are around the area and want some noodles or Asian rice dishes.

Disappointed as came when I was really hungry....the chicken curry and egg fried rice were decent but the spare ribs were so dry and no sauce and so just tasteless!!
